WINTERIZATION

Winterization

Wisconsin winters require proper winterization to prevent significant damage to your watercraft. If you own an inboard/outboard motor it is even more imperative you get your watercraft winterized PRIOR to our first freeze of the year. No appointment is needed, simply bring your watercraft to our store. We also offer pick up and delivery service as well as same day service.

Outboard Motors

2 Stroke - $109.99

4 Stroke - $149.99

If applicable all winterizations will have additional charges for oil, filters, shop supplies, and an environmental disposal charge.

Inboard, I/O Motors

Standard - $199.99

With Oil Change - $229.99

*Deluxe - $299.99 

Deluxe w/Transmission service - $379.99

Wake Surf Boats w/Ballast Sys - $499.99

All Malibu Boats - $549.99

*Deluxe services - remove drive, grease & check gimbal, u-joints & bellows.

Transmission services will have an additional charge for fluid.

Oil change services will carry an additional charge for the oil and filter.

All services will carry an additional shop supplies charge and an environmental disposal charge.

2 Stroke - $99.95

Jet Pump Oil Service -$149.99

Winterization Process

Outboard Motors

1. Check electrical component operations. (excluding accessories)

2. Drain the crankcase oil (4 Stroke)

3. Install new oil filter (4 stroke)

4. Fill crankcase with new oil.

5. Change lower unit gear lube.

6. Add fuel stabilizer.

7. Fog engine cylinders.

8. Disconnect batteries.

9. Pull all drain plugs.

10. Grease all zerks and pivot points

Inboard, I/O Motors

1. Check electrical component operations. (excluding accessories)

2. Warm engine up to operating temp.

3. Drain crankcase oil (with oil change)

4. Install new oil filter.

5. Fill crankcase with new oil.

6. Pull all drain plugs.

7. Check exhaust system.

8. Check all hoses.

9. Fog engine cylinders.

10. Disconnect batteries.

11. Add fuel stabilizer.

12. Grease zerks and pivot points (I/O)

13. Change outdrive gear lube (I/O)

PWC's / Jet Ski's

1. Check electrical component operations. (excluding accessories)

2. Drain crankcase oil (4 stroke)

3. Install new oil filter (4 Stroke)

4. Fill crankcase with new oil (4 stroke)

5. Drain all water and flush engine with antifreeze.

6. Pull all drain plugs.

7. Add fuel stabilizer.

8. Disconnect batteries.
